Google's own notifications stop at "someone edited this". SheetWatch goes down to the cell, keeps the value that was there before, and routes the news to the people who care.
Watch a fixed range, or match rows by a key column so inserts don't cause false alarms. You get the exact cell, its old value, and its new one.
Build rules from conditions like equals, greater than, or changes-to. Send each rule only to the channels that should hear it.

SheetWatch is a web application that monitors Google Sheets for changes. You connect your Google account, pick a spreadsheet, tab, and cell range, and SheetWatch checks that range on your chosen interval and notifies you the moment a cell changes.
As fast as the poll interval you set for that sheet, which can be as tight as a minute. SheetWatch checks on a schedule rather than receiving live events from Google, so a value that changes and changes back between two checks will not be spotted. Don't use it as the only safeguard for something critical.
Not during monitoring — that's read-only. It writes in two cases you trigger yourself: accepting a cross-sheet suggestion writes that one value into the target cell, and removing a spreadsheet moves the file to your Google Drive trash, where you can restore it.

SheetWatch is free to use.
Settings → Account → Danger zone → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and permanent, and SheetWatch's access to your Google account is revoked at the same time. Your spreadsheets are never touched — they stay in your Drive. Full detail is in the Privacy Policy.
